William G. Pomeroy and the Wiliam G. Pomeroy Foundation generously made gifts totaling $400,000 to fuel research in stem cell transplantation. Of that gift amount, $350,000 was given to the William G. Pomeroy Foundation Endowed Fund for AML research under Robert Soiffer, MD, and the Worthington and Margaret Collette Professor of Medicine in the Field of Hematologic Oncology at Harvard Medical School and $50,000 to the Fund for the Donor Registry Study under R. Coleman Lindsley, MD.
