On Tuesday, May 19th, 250 members of the Dana-Farber Society (DFS)—visionary donors who have made a planned gift to Dana-Farber, the Jimmy Fund, Friends of Dana-Farber, or the Pan-Mass Challenge—gathered at the Fairmont Copley Plaza for the biennial DFS Dinner. Trustees and DFS Co-Chairs Barbara and Jim Sadowsky welcomed attendees, followed by reflections from patient Chuck Stravin on “The Power of Progress” and an insider conversation with faculty leaders about what lies ahead in research and care. The evening highlighted what philanthropy makes possible for patients today—and the breakthroughs legacy giving will help drive tomorrow.
