The Shafran Haimes Foundation is supporting chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) research led by Jennifer Brown, MD, PhD, and the Worthington and Margaret Collette Professor of Medicine in the Field of Hematologic Oncology at Harvard Medical School. The generous gift of $150,000 will help fund Brown’s work analyzing minimal residual disease in patients with CLL to help determine the effectiveness of existing treatment options and develop new care strategies.
