Dana-Farber Cancer Institute received generous support from the American-Italian Cancer Foundation that will help fund three important research opportunities. Each researcher received $60,000. The funds will further the work of Francesco Corrado, MD, developing immunotherapies in multiple myeloma; Carmine Valenza, MD, for his research on hormone receptor-positive breast cancer; and Valentina Santo, MD, for her research of non-small cell lung cancer.
