Since its founding in 2007, the Melanoma Research Alliance has become the largest nonprofit funder of crucial melanoma research worldwide. In 2025, they awarded $430,000 in grants to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute supporting the work of Rizwan Haq, MD, PhD, Giacomo Oliveira, PhD, and David Liu, MD, MPH, MS, to advance the studies of uveal melanoma and immunotherapy-resistant melanoma.
