Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Emily Heikamp, MD, PhD, MSc, received a $220,000 Early Investigator Award from CURE Childhood Cancer. This generous grant supports her research focused on determining whether targeting two proteins can effectively treat a specific type of acute myeloid leukemia. The grant also helps launch her career as an independent investigator.
