The Exon 20 Group’s International Research Consortium at the International Cancer Advocacy Network (ICAN) awarded $100,000 to Michael Eck, MD, PhD, to improve our understanding of common EGFR exon 20 insertion variants, which will be valuable for the development of potent and selective inhibitors for EGFR-mutant non-small cell lung cancer. This funding can accelerate the development of new therapies and the delivery of improved treatments to increase patient quality of life.
