Craig and Bettina Burr gave $100,000 towards the Bettina and Craig Burr Breast Cancer Genetics and Prevention Research Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This gift will support the research of Judy Garber, MD, MPH, the Susan F. Smith Chair at Dana-Farber, and Myles Brown, MD, the Emil Frei III, MD, Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, which focuses on BRCA2-associated cancers to improve prevention and treatment through hormone blockers and tumor type prediction.
