The NMDP provided a $400,000 grant to support the research of Nicoletta Cieri, MD, PhD, at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This funding will support her work to improve allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation by identifying genetic factors influencing graft-versus-host disease, potentially leading to more personalized treatment strategies and improved patient outcomes.
