A new gift of $300,000 from Institute Trustee Nancy Lotane and her husband, Philip Lotane, was instrumental to the launch of a clinical trial of the PREMMplus genetic testing tool across three health systems, focusing on underserved populations. Developed by Sapna Syngal, MD, MPH, at Dana-Farber, the tool identifies inherited risks for 18 cancers, ultimately enabling enrollment in early cancer detection screening that could save thousands of lives.
