A recent gift of $100,000 from longtime supporter Christine Welsh allows Narjust Florez, MD, to advance a novel blood test that screens for lung cancer in medically underserved populations. Such screening will help ensure that patients who often do not have access to traditional methods of detection can benefit from world-class care.
