The annual Awards and Milestones Reception recognized participants of the 2024 Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai who went above and beyond in helping to raise nearly $9.4 million. Among the honorees, David Thau (pictured second from left) received a Lifetime Achievement Award for surpassing $500,000 raised as an individual.
Also honored were First-Time Walker of the Year Freeman Fournier; First-Time Team Captain of the Year Elyse Ayers; Alumni Walker of the Year Bonaparte Moore; Alumni Team Captain of the Year Pauline Sciarappa; Volunteer of the Year Allison Casella; and Extra Mile Award winner Gary Bastarache.
Individual Lifetime Achievement Awards were also presented to Chris Phung, Christine Klatt, Michael Lynch, and Vin Cannamela for surpassing $250,000 in individual fundraising, and Team Cure ATRT Now for surpassing $500,000. Top Dana-Farber Employee Teams and Top Corporate Teams, including Team Deloitte who surpassed $1 million, were also recognized for their outstanding accomplishments in 2024.
