Bill Lawrence (pictured) received the 2024 Ken Coleman Extra Mile Award for over two decades of support for Jimmy Fund Golf. After losing his niece and a childhood friend to cancer, Lawrence knew he wanted to do anything in his power to help. He became a steadfast advocate for Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund, ensuring continued success for the Store Development Jimmy Fund Classic, which has raised over $8.5 million for Dana-Farber’s mission since 1992.
The Ken Coleman Extra Mile Award started in 1996 and has been presented to outstanding and longstanding Jimmy Fund Golf volunteers who go above and beyond with their time and energy to support Dana-Farber’s efforts to defy cancer.
