Carla L. DeSantis established the Robert A. DeSantis Fund for Cancer Research with a gift of $150,000 in memory of her father. With this investment, Brian Wolpin, MD, and his team in the Gastrointestinal Cancer Center are well-positioned to design new clinical trials with the goal of developing more effective therapies for patients with pancreatic and colon cancers.
