Longtime supporter Tina’s Wish recently awarded more than $450,000 over a two-year period to support two Dana-Farber studies into early detection for ovarian cancer—one investigating a new class of microRNA and key biomarkers and how they could be used to develop a personalized blood test, and another examining how epigenetic alterations of fallopian tube epithelial cells could be targeted to treat and detect high-grade serous ovarian cancer.
