The Dana-Farber Campaign is our ambitious, multibillion-dollar fundraising effort to change the future of cancer research and care—the largest in the Institute’s history and one of the largest ever in the U.S. focused solely on cancer. Our community of support is crucial to this effort.
Campaign Impact: Ensuring future success through planned giving
The Dana-Farber Campaign has inspired pivotal planned gifts that will make a true difference for children and adults with cancer. In fact, the Dana-Farber Society—comprised of donors who have made a gift in their will, a beneficiary designation, a life income gift, or other planned gift—recently celebrated reaching its ambitious campaign goal of expanding to 2,000 members. This group, whose goal is to provide a dependable future source of funding to the Institute, has doubled in size during the campaign.
Many planned gifts are made with no set requirements for their use and are not tied to a specific type of cancer. Having access to this flexible funding enables Dana-Farber to advance the most promising opportunities to transform cancer care. Planned gifts made during the campaign have also endowed critical positions and provided funds to build on and expedite progress across cancer science and care—today, tomorrow, and well into the future.
