The MPN Research Foundation recently awarded $200,000 to support Sahand Hormoz, PhD, and his research in myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), a category of blood cancers driven by mutations in stem cells. With this funding, Hormoz aims to uncover the mechanisms behind these mutations in the hopes of laying the groundwork for better, more durable treatments.
