Luigi and Patrizia D’Amato made a gift of $100,000 to support research within the Bing Center for Waldenström’s Macroglobulinemia at Dana-Farber. The center is the largest in the world dedicated to the study of Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia, a slow-growing type of blood cancer that most often forms in the bone marrow.
