A first annual symposium on May 8 celebrated the Lubin Family Foundation Scholar Award Program, offering guests an opportunity to hear about advancements in cancer care and research. The 2022 and 2023 Lubin Scholars were introduced by their mentors, highlighting how the enhanced mentorship component of the program continues to support their successes. The afternoon also featured an announcement of the 2024 cohort, and a keynote address by Nobel Laureate Harold Varmus, MD. The foundation established the award program to help support and retain the brightest physician-scientists in academic medicine as they launch their research careers.
