Ed and Mary Ann Swanson made a gift of $100,000 to support stem cell transplantation research under the direction of Mahasweta Gooptu, MD, including efforts to prevent relapse following transplantation for some patients with acute myeloid leukemia and myelodysplastic syndromes.
