Hockey goalies across the nation raised $100,000 for Dana-Farber through October Saves by gathering pledges for each save during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. These funds support the pediatric leukemia research of Scott Armstrong, MD, PhD (pictured far left), and Wallace Bourgeois, MD (second from left), in honor of Charlie Capalbo, a Connecticut goalie and Dana-Farber patient who passed away from leukemia at age 23 in 2022. Presenting the check were Lara Hopewell, CEO and Founder of October Saves, and two New England goalies.
