For the second season in a row, Boston Red Sox pitcher Garrett Whitlock is serving as Jimmy Fund Captain. In this role, he acts as an ambassador for the Jimmy Fund, building awareness and support for Dana-Farber’s mission to defy cancer. The Red Sox have partnered with the Jimmy Fund since 1953, the most unique and longstanding partnership in professional sports, and as Jimmy Fund Captain, Whitlock will continue this valued tradition.
