Coleman Lindsley, MD, PhD, was recognized as the Edward P. Evans Investigator in MDS research at Dana-Farber at an event in 2023. Lindsley’s lab focuses on the biology and treatment of myeloid malignancies, with specific emphases on defining genetic pathways of progression, mechanisms of familial leukemia predisposition, and understanding donor and recipient factors that drive clinical outcomes after bone marrow transplantation. The event also celebrated the Edward P. Evans Foundation, which established both the investigatorship and the Edward P. Evans Center for Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) at the Institute with a visionary $5 million grant, the largest gift to MDS research in Dana-Farber history.
