After being diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a rare bile duct cancer, in August 2022, Brenda McAdam established the Brenda McAdam Fund for Bile Duct Cancer Research at Dana-Farber under the direction of James Cleary, MD, PhD. With her $100,000 gift, she hopes Cleary can help patients like her defy this rare cancer.
