The Dana-Farber Campaign is an ambitious, multi-year fundraising effort to change the future of cancer research and care—the largest in the Institute’s history and one of the largest ever in the U.S. focused solely on cancer. Our community of support is crucial to this effort.
One way our supporters accelerate campaign efforts is by including Dana-Farber in their estate plans. During the campaign, the Dana-Farber Society has grown by 70% to 1,750 members—approaching our goal to grow our legacy community to 2,000 members. Donors have made new planned giving commitments totaling more than $269 million to advance key science and care initiatives, establish endowed fellowships to attract the most innovative young minds, and provide flexible funds that allow the Institute to take risks in our science, seize key opportunities, and expand our reach.
Many times planned gifts provide tax advantages to the donor, while providing reliable future support for our most ambitious efforts to improve outcomes for adults and children with cancer here and around the world. Together, we can transform cancer care for patients everywhere.
