On May 24, more than 200 guests gathered at the Four Seasons Hotel Boston for the annual Dana-Farber Society Dinner. This event recognizes the generosity of the Dana-Farber Society (DFS), a visionary group whose legacy gifts help to secure the future progress of the Institute.

The inspiring evening included remarks from Dana-Farber President and CEO Laurie H. Glimcher, MD, and Chief Scientific Officer Emeritus Barrett Rollins, MD, PhD, who told a moving personal story about his wife, Jane Weeks, MD, MSc, who passed away from breast cancer in 2013. The event as a whole was a powerful example of everyone’s shared commitment to defying cancer.
