On Feb. 4, hundreds of riders assembled at Fenway Park’s 521 Overlook venue for the PMC Winter Cycle, an annual indoor spinning event to raise money for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This year, riders raised more than $530,000, 100% of which will go directly to supporting cancer research and patient care at the Institute.

Record breaking temperatures reaching minus 10 degrees didn’t stop these fundraisers from venturing out to work up a sweat for cancer research and care. Even Wally the Green Monster made an appearance to rally the crowd as they rode through six 45-minute sessions led by top Boston-area cycling instructors.

The Winter Cycle kicked off the 2023 fundraising season for the Pan-Mass Challenge, the annual bike-a-thon that is the nation’s most successful athletic fundraiser and the Institute’s largest single contributor.
