Spring 2023
By Lori Dougherty

The Dana-Farber Campaign is an ambitious, multi-year fundraising effort to change the future of cancer research and care—the largest in the Institute’s history and one of the largest ever in the U.S. focused solely on cancer. Our community of support is crucial to this effort.
Establishing an endowment is a powerful way to support The Dana-Farber Campaign. The annual distribution from an invested endowment provides long-term, budget-relieving funds for Dana-Farber’s clinical, research, or educational programs, or for faculty or nursing positions, enabling the Institute to attract and retain the brightest minds in the field. Endowments can be established with a wide range of tax-efficient gifts, from cash and checks to donor-advised funds, IRAs, stocks, securities, and other financial assets. Opportunities are available at a variety of giving levels (see below) and are payable over five years.
Gifts to create an endowment accelerate the Institute’s strategic priorities by supporting the most promising scientific discoveries, our nursing and medical professionals, and continued support of our unique Dana-Farber culture—helping us prevent, treat, and Defy Cancer for patients everywhere.
