In September, the inaugural David Liposarcoma Research Initiative International Scientific Symposium was held at Dana-Farber. The symposium included the unveiling of a plaque commemorating the generous pledge from the Rossy Foundation that, through The Rossy Foundation Fund at KBF Canada, established the David Liposarcoma Research Initiative under the direction of George Demetri, MD, director of the Sarcoma Center, senior vice president of Experimental Therapeutics, and the Quick Family Chair in Medical Oncology at Dana-Farber.
