James Tulsky, MD, was named the first incumbent of the Poorvu Jaffe Chair in Psychosocial Oncology and Palliative Care at Dana-Farber, the first chair in this field established at the Institute. The Poorvu Jaffe Family’s gift also established the Poorvu Jaffe Fund for Supportive Oncology and Health Equity.
